Our training/social/therapy programmes will support care service’s to achieve these objectives by offering a rest-bite service which also incorporates a back to nature experience, offering every individual the opportunity to train as a volunteer within our charity, in order that they can experience developing their disabilities into abilities by supporting our care programme for our nations rescue horses, ponies & donkeys.
Every individual can also experience personal self achievement’s by enjoying the invigorating accomplishments of obtaining related accredited qualifications in volunteering & horse care.

Holly’s charity rescues are also integrated into their (disability friendly) Equine training & therapy program, a relatively new type of rehab therapy which teaches youth, disabled & troubled individuals how to care and be responsible for others, it involves the caring for horses as a means to accomplish this and grow as a person.
The combination of working with the animal and caring for them enables the individual to grow emotionally, mentally, physically, and even spiritually, as the therapy begins, the horse is like an empty canvas with no preconceived notions or opinions about the individuals caring for them and given they are rescues in need both physically & emotionally this can encourage the caring side of any individuals nature to develop.
The primary benefit that any individual gains from this experience is that they are replacing their negative, insecure or addictive behaviour with a positive activity. As the individual progresses through the recovery stage using equine therapy, they now have something else to focus on besides the emotions or cravings they feel from their mental health or disability problems.
