SLIDE JOE PICTURE SOCIALThose who are familiar with horses recognise and understand the power of horses to influence people in incredible ways.  Developing relationships, training, horsemanship instruction, and caring for horses (especially rescues) naturally affects the people involved in a positive manner.Work ethics, responsibility, assertiveness, communication, and healthy relationships has long been recognised, as horses naturally provide these benefits.  The use of horses is growing and gaining popularity with the rise of Equine Assisted therapy and Equine Assisted Learning.

  • Our Equine assisted recripocal experience is the discipline of using horses as a means to provide metaphoric experiences in order to promote emotional growth. The horses provide an excellent way for troubled youth to react when they are otherwise therapy resistant.

Individuals will usually learn many lessons on ways in which horses learn, react, and follow instructions which in turn mirror the lives of youth themselves.

Individuals will learn how to lead a horse. Most often they begin by trying to pull on a lead rope, standing in front of the horse. They learn that the best way to lead a horse is not in front or behind the horse, but by its side.

  • Our Equine assisted recropical experience  has shown to be very effective with individuls who manifest depression, attention-deficit, conduct disorders, dissociative disorders, anxiety, dementia, autism, and many other related disorders.
